Linden Ponds’ Plastic Bag Knit ‘n Crocheters received an overwhelming response to a story that appeared in the July Tribune (“Trash bags become trendy accessories”).

“It was such a surprise,” says Althea Walton, the group’s founder.

For those interested in learning the craft, Walton suggests attending one of her classes on Mondays from 1:30 p.m. to 3:30 p.m. in the creative arts studio of  the Derby Clubhouse at Linden Ponds.
