THE ERICKSON TRIBUNE
Hudson Park, the newest residence building at Fox Run, in Novi, opens this month and has seen unprecedented success.
“The response to this new building has been overwhelming, especially in the face of a tough economy and housing market,” says Fox Run Executive Director Mike McCormick. “The building is already 60% reserved with more reservations every day.”
Perhaps even more noteworthy, McCormick says that due to quick house sales, five new residents moved to Hudson Park before their new homes were finished. “They moved into Fox Run guest suites early because they sold their houses so quickly through our Erickson Realty & Moving Services program,” he says.
Fox Run’s Sales Director Fred Moschetta agrees: “A major reason for the great success of this building is because people are using the Erickson Realty & Moving Services we offer.”
Moving program on a roll
Anyone moving to an Erickson community like Fox Run can utilize the unique service, which works to simplify every aspect of the moving process. Sharon Baksa, director of Erickson Realty & Moving Services, says their team conducts hands-on consultative home visits and provides a network of trusted real estate and moving resources and “any other services that make moving to an Erickson community easier than staying home.”
Baksa works alongside Personal Moving Consultant Mary Wolfe, who is a licensed Realtor and certified property staging consultant. Wolfe is the personal touchpoint for people moving to Fox Run. She helps them sell their houses quickly and for a reasonable asking price. She then leads the downsizing and moving process.
In addition to Erickson Realty & Moving Services, Moschetta says a new program, Move On Us, reimburses people up to $2,000 in moving expenses.
People preparing to move to any of Erickson’s 20 retirement communities, including Fox Run, are eligible to use Erickson Realty & Moving Services.
