THE ERICKSON TRIBUNE
The Windsor Run welcome center has been open for just a couple of months, and already a steady flow of customers is keeping the staff busy.
Retirement Counselor Lydia Hill introduces people to all the elements of the Windsor Run lifestyle. The fi rst step toward reserving one’s spot at Windsor Run, she says, is obtaining a place on the priority list. Here she responds to the most frequently asked questions about this list.Q: I keep hearing about the Windsor Run priority list. What is it, and why should I join?
A: The Priority List is a list of people who think they would like to move into Windsor Run. A fully refundable $1,000 deposit and a $150-per-person nonrefundable application fee are all it takes to join. Your position on the list is based on the date your deposit is received. For instance, if you make your deposit on August 1, 2008, you have priority over everyone who joins the list after that date. Likewise, those who joined before your date are ahead of you. So the sooner you join, the better your choices of apartment homes.
Q: What is the advantage of becoming a priority list member?
A:
Joining the priority list is the perfect way to preserve your options. Even though we offer more than 30 diff erent home designs, many sell out quickly. Some Erickson communities have waiting lists of up to three years! Membership on the priority list ensures you have the right of first refusal on the selection of available homes, based on the date you join. It can drastically improve your chances of getting the home you want in the most timely manner possible.
Q: How can I find out more about how the process works, and how I can get started?
