Experienced sales team and services guide seniors to better retirement

Helen Nagle had lived in her two-bedroom condo in Red Bank, N.J., for more than 20 years, but when the neighborhood dynamics began to change, I decided it was time to go, she says. Changing neighborhood dynamics play a role in many retirees decisions to move. According to Family Mobility and Neighborhood Change (2009), a report issued by the Annie E. Casey Foundation that explores the components of residential mobility, a decision to move occurs when the current living arrangements become suboptimal. Having witnessed several of her friends settle in at Seabrook, an Erickson Living community in nearby Tinton Falls, N.J., Helen began to see herself living there as well. She says the decision came easily for her, especially because Seabrook reimbursed $2,000 of her moving expenses, significantly decreasing the stress of the moving process.

From suboptimal to prime

Erickson Living has helped people like Helen Nagle discover a better retirement for more than 25 years, so it s no surprise they ve mastered the ability to make moving less stressful. To receive the reimbursement for her moving expenses, Helen used a real estate agent and moving company recommended by Seabrook. Everyone Seabrook suggested was very, very good, Helen says. And the sales staff was helpful. On June 24, 2011, Helen moved into a one-bedroom Ellicott-style apartment home in Arbor Court, just off of the Town Square neighborhood in the Seabrook community. She says she couldn t be more satisfied. The rooms are a very nice size, and I m very pleased.
