John Erickson, the namesake and founder of Erickson Retirement
Communities, recently stepped down as chief executive officer of the
company he founded 26 years ago. Erickson, who founded the Baltimore, Md.–based company in 1983, has turned over the CEO reins to Bruce R. “Rick” Grindrod.
