Posted on Friday, December 15, 2006

Buying video games for the grandkids this holiday season? How do you know which are age appropriate? ESRB Ratings.

The ESRB (Entertainment Rating Software Board) is a non-profit, self-regulatory body established in 1994 that independently applies ratings and enforces advertising guidelines and online privacy principles for computer and video games and other entertainment software in the United States and Canada.

Computer and video games are clearly labeled with ESRB symbols—for a full explanation of symbols visit www.esrb.org.
