The FDA announced that generic drug manufacturer, ABLE Laboratories of Cranbury, N.J., has decided to recall all of its drugs from market. The decision was made due to concerns that the drugs “were not produced according to quality assurance standards.”
Because the recall only applies to drugs manufactured by ABLE, Erickson HealthSM experts agree that consumers should NOT simply stop taking any of their generic medications. Instead, contact your pharmacist and bring in your generic medication. They can tell you if your drug is on the recall list and advise you as to the next step.
