How big of a breakthrough do you think this is?  Do you think this helps to prove that there was/is life on Mars?

This is great. You know maybe if they hadn't spent the past 30 years working so hard to debunk the Face on Mars mystery and actually had been doing some real science i.e. searching/looking in the right places on Mars for water. Maybe they would have some images of the water flowing.

Is it just me or does NASA seem to waste a ton of time and money on the wrong things.

Why aren't we landing people on the planet Mars itself yet. What is the hold up? When Kennedy said he wanted a man on the moon we essentially went from no space program at all to a man on the moon in less than a decade. We didn't have any computers or high technology at all then either.

What is wrong with this country's space program NASA. Why are we conquering the new frontier? With all of our modern technology it seems that we have taken steps backward.
