What is your take on all of the recent recalls from Sony?  Do you own a laptop that uses a Sony battery?  How have the recalls affected you?  Will you continue to buy Sony products?  Discuss!

From what I understand, it's not just the Sony batteries that were having problems, but I know Apple was having some issues too. I don't know if they were Sony or not. Typically I'm not a big fan of Sony. Not just because I had family that worked for Panasonic, but mainly because most of the products I have ever had by Sony have left me dissapointed.

You're right, Jon.  Apple issued a recall, as well as Dell.

I've never had a Sony notebook, but I have had a Sony Vaio desktop, and I never had any problems with it.
