I read the article on less protection for uninsured motorists and I have to say I was cheering!!

I work in uninsured motorist collections and trust me when I say that these uninsured motorists DONT" CARE about the damage they do out there when it is their fault - so why should the law abiding citizens or insurance care about them??

I talk to hundreds of these people a month and all they do is whine and argue about paying back property and medical damage and feel that they don't need to repay since "that is the reason why people carry insurance."

I tell them good luck with that and I hope your lawyer will drive you back and forth from work every day since I am requesting your license to be suspended. (Something the State DMV's should do automatically but they don't for some reason).

People think uninsured motorists should have rights and I disagree. I work really hard to have "the right" to legally operate my vehicle on the road and do fear someone without insurance might hit me. All they will do cost you money when you have to pay your deductible out of pocket to get your car fixed and the only way you will get it back is if your insurance company cuts you a break or a subrogation collector such as myself recovers the money back for you.
