What are your thoughts on the recent Wii Bowling Tournament held at Sedgebrook?  Have you had a chance to test out the Wii yet?  If not, did the video make you curious?

At first I thought this was a PR stunt by Nintendo for the Wii but I saw the video and this looks really cool. It's great that this game system is transforming the culture both for experienced gamers and for seniors who probably don't play many game systems. It's really a testament to the designers at Nintendo who have created a system so intutive that people of any age or experince level and pick up a Wii controller, start playing and have fun right out of the box. These residents at your Sedgebrook Retirement Community are darn cool for getting into this. I love the bowling alley set up the constructed. Sedgebrook looks like a neat place...if I were anywhere near retirement age that's where I would want to be.

Just wanted to say how much I enjoyed watching this video. On Christmas day last year we had family and friends aged from 7 to 70 all having fun playing Wii Sports. As a long time "gamer" it's great to see so many people having a go with the Wii. Good on you Erickson - and good on you Nintendo.
