Do you whiten your teeth? Have you run into any problems because of whitening your teeth (blueishness, sensitivity)? Do you use over-the-counter whiteners or did you go to your dentist?

I whitened my teeth with Crest White Strips about four years ago. My teeth got very sensitive and my gums turned white in spots directly after i used the strips. I started using them only once a day every other day and had good results; it just took a little longer. Although I really liked my white teeth, my dentist advised me not to do it again.
