Sit Down and Shut Up, an Educator's Memoir, a non-fiction narrative, focuses on school years, from 1931-2003. Contents: anecdotes and personal experiences as a child, student, parent, and now retired educator of 39 years, teaching English, in public, private, and independent schools across several states, in Arizona 1958- 2003. I also relate what is good about education, what is not, suggestions for change and improvement. I have provided what I have learned to help students become better readers, (suggested reading list included), better writers, and communicators. Readers say this book is timely and a must for teachers, administrators, parents. Teachers are glad I wrote this book, for "We cannot, if we want to keep our jobs."

| Beyond the Summit is an outstanding book. I couldn't put it down. It's the first fiction written about the Sherpa tribe of the Everest region. I learned so much about their culture interwoven in a story of high adventure and romance. A great love story with storms and avalanches and mountain climbing plus Buddhist rituals. |
