We're looking to take a trip to Dubrovnik, Croatia this October after seeing a special on the "Today" show.  It looks amazing, but I can't find anyone who has been.  People usually give me funny looks when I speak of it, remembering the worn-torn images of Yugoslavia ten years ago.  Anyone out there know anything and can give us some pointers?  Is it a pretty friendly place to travel?
