THE ERICKSON TRIBUNE
Talk about a diverse career: Lucia Stetson is a trained actress, singer, and dancer with a background in Wall Street high finance. Oddly enough, that combination makes her the perfect person to round out Windsor Run’s sales staff. As sales associate, Stetson takes appointments, meets with customers, and generally explains the Erickson lifestyle.
Her onstage background helps her put people at ease and makes them comfortable as they discuss some serious lifestyle issues. Her experience on Wall Street makes her the ideal person to conduct financial reviews with prospective residents and explain the economics of a move to Windsor Run.
Moving forward
Stetson moved to the Matthews area in early 2008 from New York City. Her husband, Jeff, was transferred here by Bank of America. Shortly after arriving, Stetson gave birth to the couple’s first child, a daughter named Isabella. “My family is from Argentina, and my father made me promise to give my children names he could pronounce,” Stetson says with a laugh.
After getting the family settled into their new home in Indian Trail, Stetson began looking for work, preferably something where she could use the experience she had gained working for hedge funds.
“I wanted a job where I could utilize my financial skills, and I was drawn by the lifestyle that Erickson provides for its residents and employees,” Stetson recalls. She began work in August and quickly had a full schedule of appointments.
Windsor Run, here she comes!
Stetson finds her role at Windsor Run rewarding on several levels. “I like working with potential residents to help them understand the financial implications of moving to an Erickson community. And the quality of customers I meet here really enhances my work experience,” Stetson says.
