Cottonwood Court and Blue Spruce Ridge will soon have a younger sibling. And if these residence buildings is any indication of the future, Wind Crest’s Evergreen Crossing may fill up even faster, says Molly Thorne- Dhieux, the community’s retirement counselor.

“Wind Crest has reserved homes at a faster rate than most Erickson communities across the country,” she says. “Cottonwood Court, which opened in June, filled up in six weeks. And Blue Spruce Ridge is nearly full already.”

Given that level of interest, Thorne-Dhieux says officials decided it was time to draw up plans for a third.

Predicted popularity
One of the reasons why Evergreen Crossing is expected to fill up quickly is because interested individuals are now able to walk through actual models—as opposed to looking at floor plans on paper.

“The views here are spectacular,” Thorne-Dhieux says. She also expects  Evergreen Crossing’s proximity to the Town Center Clubhouse to be a draw.

For area residents who are considering a move to Wind Crest in the near or distant future, now is the time to join the Priority List. “The Priority List is not just for people who are ready to move in—it’s equally important for people who are looking ahead to get what they want when they’re ready,” she says.

The early bird
“A flood of new interest will likely follow this announcement,” she says. In addition to new Priority List members, there’s also the overflow of Priority List members from the first two residence buildings to consider. They’ll be among the first in line at Evergreen Crossing.

“That’s why it’s crucial to get on the Priority List now. If you have even the  slightest preference in a building, floor plan, or location, you can’t afford not to join and secure your future home,” Thorne- Dhieux says.

Evergreen Crossing will vary slightly in its combination of floor plans from the first two buildings, she says. “Now that we’ve gotten a feel for our Denver  clientele, we’ve tailored the floor plans a bit to appeal to local tastes—adding more of the popular one bedrooms and deluxe models.”

But as with supply and demand, those go just as quickly. “Some of our popular floor plans have a wait list of up to a year and a half—so don’t wait!” she says.
