THE ERICKSON TRIBUNE
In celebration of Wind Crest’s 600-plus Priority List members, the community opened its doors of the Town Center Clubhouse just for them. For most, the special premiere event was the first time they’d seen anything beyond blueprints and floor plans of what Wind Crest would become.
A class act
Hors d’ouvres in the dining room and tours of the clubhouse welcomed Priority List members, with several apartments open for viewing. Many used the opportunity to learn what their peers like about Wind Crest, while others chatted with staff about specifics. Most carried checklists of questions to ask and floor plans to see—including William Moore, who was there with his wife Sharon.
“My mother spent 15 years at a nice place—with nice food and nice people, but it wasn’t anything near this level,” he said. Everything from the quality of Wind Crest’s amenities to the décor, the people, even the size and scope of the property impressed Moore.
“This place is a class act,” he added.
Bob Lee and his wife Patty, who joined the Priority List over a year ago, said the event reaffirmed their belief that Wind Crest is right for them. “We’ve visited the competition. One offered many amenities in their monthly package, but we didn’t need all of those things—and the cost was astronomical,” Bob Lee said. “Erickson offers a better concept and value.”
Back to Denver
Priority List members Bob and Phyllis Anderson would have loved to attend, but they live in Florida. So they sent their daughters Karyn and Kristin—who live nearby—to stand in for them.
The Andersons moved from the Denver area to Florida in 1991 when they retired. But lately, home ownership had become burdensome, and they missed their family. So they decided to reconsider their options.
