Among the variety of apartment models available at Wind Crest, Retirement Counselor Molly Thorne- Dhieux says that there is a model to suit everyone’s personal needs. “Our two bedroom models seem to be the most popular, especially among people who are moving from a single family home and want to downsize, but still have room for entertaining and relaxing. It seems to be the right answer for a lot of people,” she adds.
Lighten up their world
The natural light from the apartment’s large picture window was enough to make Patricia and Paul La Barge of Centennial choose the Hastings two bedroom floor plan at Wind Crest.
“We were most attracted to the light, with the south west exposure,” Paul LaBarge said. Some apartments even feature a large bay window. The couple will live on the fifth floor of Wind Crest’s first building, Cottonwood Court when it opens in 2007. “It’s like the penthouse,” Patricia says. As for the window treatments, “I’m not so sure we want to cover the windows up,” she says. “Why not let the light in?”
V.I.P. treatment
The couple joined the Priority List so they would have the best options when they were ready to move. The reservation process was a smooth one for the couple. “Molly was great to work with,” Paul said. “She was really helpful and did everything to ensure we got the home we wanted.”
The LaBarges said that attending the exclusive Priority List events were the perfect way to meet their future neighbors and solidified their decision to move to Wind Crest. The couple is looking forward to moving in with more people of their like mind-set. “It just seems like a good choice with all of the people we meet,” Patricia said. “We’ll be with our type of people— people that want to get out and about.”
“This isn’t a spot where you park old people,” Paul said.
