Priority List Members Reserve Their Apartment Homes After Receiving Packets

THE ERICKSON TRIBUNE

Wind Crest, an innovative community concept offering a unique retirement lifestyle officially broke ground this summer. That milestone ceremony marked the beginning of a longawaited reservation process during which Priority List members could reserve their future homes in Cottonwood Court.

During that ceremony, Retirement Counselor Molly Thorne-Dhieux, announced that apartment reservation packets would be mailed in order of Priority Date, the date one joins the Priority List. The reservation process moves in a cadence which allows all those who are ready to reserve their apartment to call and make an appointment with Molly, to talk about their preferences, and secure one of the next available apartments that most match those personal preferences. As people make their reservations and appointments, another group of people receive their packets and are encouraged to make their appointments.

This process allows Molly ample time to personally meet with each person. Since those first reservation packets hit mailboxes, the phones at the Welcome Center have been ringing off the hook as Priority List members called to schedule reservation appointments with Molly.

And They’re Off
Since the reservation process began, many Priority List members have taken advantage of this golden opportunity to make the most of their retirement years. Jim and Virginia Murphy, two of Wind Crest’s first Priority List members, recently reserved their apartment home with Molly. Jim says, “Reserving our Lancaster apartment is a milestone in our lives because it’s a total change of life. We’re so excited!” Molly said, “The Murphy’s are thrilled to be a part of Wind Crest. I called to confirm their reservation while they were in Disney World! They simply can’t wait!”

Cottonwood Court, Wind Crest’s residential building, is already over 60-percent reserved with 200 Reservation Packets delivered to date. Construction is moving on schedule, so the development of this new community is well on-pace.

In addition to phones ringing off the hook, Sales Associate Kelly Standiford says, “Since reservations have started there have been so many people walking in trying to join the Priority List! At least five families stop by each day to join the Priority List and become part of the community. It’s so exciting! They are realizing that the only way to be offered a home is to join the Priority List.”

Valuable Experience
Construction is off to a great start for both Cottonwood Court and the Town Center Clubhouse. Priority List members know this community will be great because it offers so much.

Dine at either the Fireside Restaurant or the Fly’n B Bistro for the meal of your choice each day. Start your day on the right foot with a quick work out at the Fitness Center—a trainer and state-of-the-art equipment will keep you fit! Join friends for a water-aerobics class at the all-season aquatics center or take up painting in the creative arts studio. You’ll never be without something to do!

Wind Crest’s on-site Medical Center ensures that you’ll have every opportunity to stay healthy and keep up with your busy schedule. To top it all off—everything will be a short walk from each apartment home, through climate-controlled walkways that connect both the Town Center and Cottonwood Court.

Many retirement communities build without assessing demand. Wind Crest only builds to demand so that you can live in a debt-free environment. Erickson’s careful planning and assessment is another layer of protection for you, ensuring your 100% Refundable Entrance Deposit*.

Erickson’s 24 years of experience developing and managing retirement communities make Wind Crest a smart value and a secure financial decision.

Reservations Only to Increase
As the Wind Crest campus takes shape, more and more people will be inspired to reserve apartment homes.

As the number of homes reserved increases, many people will find themselves on waiting lists for their preferred style of home. At other Erickson communities, waiting lists reach lengths of a year or more while lists for some units are often longer, occasionally spanning two or three years. Joining the Priority List decreases the waiting time and increases the chance to reserve the apartment home of your choice.

Time Might Run Out
Since only 147 apartment homes are currently under development and so many people wish to move, only members of the Wind Crest Priority List will have the opportunity to reserve one.

Take time out to visit the Welcome Center, watch a virtual tour of selected apartment home styles, and discover why over 45 Coloradans join the Priority List Each month. Call today, 303-798-3100 or 1-800-834-7188.
