The Kansas City Ballet is celebrating its 35th year of presenting The Nutcracker. Touted as the largest production in an eight-state region,the performance features more than 200 area children along with 25 Kansas City Ballet dancers. This year local choirs will also sing traditional holiday music.

Two classes offered in November

The Erickson Center for Continuous Learning will offer two classes in November in the Audubon Clubhouse at Tallgrass Creek Retirement Community. The classes include:

Austin Welsh, M.D., will bring a passion for medicine and a belief in teamwork to his position as the primary care physician at the Tallgrass Creek medical center.
