The holidays are on the way to Tallgrass Creek and the Kansas City area.
Holidays at the Creek
As soon as visitors drive into Tallgrass Creek, lighted trees and bridges adorned with icicle lights will greet them, says Custom Interiors Coordinator Pamela Hopper. Hopper is in charge of the holiday décor on campus this year.
The Audubon Clubhouse will be filled with wreaths, grapevine deer, several Christmas trees, and Hanukkah decorations. Lighted garlands—105 feet of them—will grace the stairway to the second floor of the clubhouse.
Residents will decorate the tree in the Sunflower Bistro on December 5. From 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. on the same day, the Dickens Carolers will entertain residents. The Blue Valley High School Carolers will perform at the community from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. on December 18.
