Future residents of Tallgrass Creek will have a chance to declutter their houses while they help a good cause.
The First Annual Treasure Chest Sale—an indoor flea market where shoppers and sellers alike reap beaucoup benefi ts—will be held on May 2 and May 3.
People who have reserved homes at Tallgrass Creek and members of the community’s Priority List are invited to donate furniture, clothing, collectibles, and housewares, among other things. Future residents will have lots of help with the items they want to sell, which will be picked up free of charge from their houses.
Money raised at the sale will go to the Benevolent Care Fund. “The Benevolent Care Fund ensures that all of our residents have a home for life,” says Mark Meisenheimer, Tallgrass Creek community relations manager. “This is so exciting—we are holding our first major event to contribute to this fund that will help our residents in their time of need.”
Treasure Chest Sale
