In honor of (Nov. 11), step into history at the National World War I Museum in Kansas City, Mo. The museum opened almost a year ago at the Liberty Memorial, a 217-foot Kansas City landmark. It offers an interactive view of World War I through exhibits ranging from uniforms worn in the war to postcards sent from the field.
A special Veterans Day Observance will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Sunday, November 11.
