Joining the Priority List at Tallgrass Creek offers a low-risk way to ensure that future residents receive the home they want when the time is right for them to move, says Jane McIntire, retirement counselor at the Overland Park  community.

McIntire offers these answers to frequently asked questions about the Priority List.

What is the Priority List?
For those considering a move to Tallgrass Creek, the Priority List is the best way to secure a place in line and ensure that you will have the option of moving in the time frame that best meets your needs. The better positioning you have on the Priority List, the better chance you will have of reserving your desired floor plan and exposure.

What are the advantages of being on the Priority List?
Not only is the Priority List low-risk—it meets your individual preferences and timing needs! We will update all Priority List members, in the order that they joined the list, when we have new inventory available for reservation.

List members will always have priority over those who join after they do.

How is the Priority List date determined?

Your position on the list is based upon the date yourity deposit is submitted. So the sooner you join, the better your choices of apartment homes.

What if someone signs up for the Priority List and opts not to reserve a certain apartment—does he or she go to the end of the list?

Absolutely not. Whether you are thinking about a move in one year or five years, the list does not penalize you for waiting. You will continue to maintain your place in line until the timing is right.

How much does joining the Priority List cost?
Joining the Priority List requires a $1,000 fully refundable deposit, along with a $150 per person nonrefundable processing fee.
