Residents won’t have to leave Tallgrass Creek to find a full-service bank. Hillcrest Bank will be conveniently located in the Audubon Clubhouse.
Hillcrest Bank brings a vast amount of experience to its new partnership with Tallgrass Creek, says John Harned, executive director of the retirement community.
“They’re local and that is very beneficial to our residents and employees,” Harned says. “They have extensive experience. What they’re doing for our Audubon Clubhouse bank is something that is part of their culture. They understand our residents.”
Quality service, personal banking
The Overland Parkbased bank operates in 21 retirement communities in five states and supports commercial real estate development in 32 states, says Suzy Lowe, assistant vice president of the retirement center banking for Hillcrest.
“We’re very excited about Tallgrass Creek,” Lowe says. “They are innovative and provide a high level of service to their residents. Because we are privately owned and well capitalized, we are able to provide clients above-average returns on their deposits.”
“A personal banker will be available five days a week,” Lowe says. “We get involved with the community and its residents.”
