THE ERICKSON TRIBUNE
The Keswick is one of the new homes at Tallgrass Creek in Overland Park.
The apartment—with two bedrooms and one and a half baths—has a unique combination of ample space and a homey floor plan.
“The popular Keswick can give you the comforts and closet space of many of our two bedroom styles, with a very reasonable entrance deposit,” says Jane McIntire, retirement counselor at Tallgrass Creek. “If you’re coming from a large house or condo, you will appreciate the second bedroom; it serves as great space for entertaining or keeping up with that special hobby or interest. We have several Keswick apartments with fantastic exposures.”
Socializing a snap
Socializing will be easy in the living room. At 12 feet by 22 feet, the room can fit enough furnishings for more than one conversation area or provide space to stretch out and relax. Large picture windows keep the room warm and bright.
Guests will feel comfortable following the home’s natural flow into the kitchen, where there is enough room to make a gourmet meal, but not so much room that it is difficult to maintain.
Discover a large bedroom and bathroom with a walk-in shower in the master suite, which also boasts walk-in and linen closets. It is the perfect private getaway.
A special feature of the Keswick at Tallgrass Creek is its large second bedroom. This room could house everything from an art studio to an office. How about making it into a game room for bunco or poker nights? Or on the more sedate side it could be a cozy reading room with book-lined shelves, a comfortable chair, and a warm afghan.
A haven for hobbies
Drs. Tom and Judy Harned have that second bedroom already planned in the two bedroom home they will move into at Tallgrass Creek. It will serve as the center of activity for Tom Harned’s genealogy passion and provide enough space for Judy Harned to do the sewing that she loves.
