Kansas City’s weather in February can be pretty nasty. The record low temperature for the month was 12 degrees below zero in 1982. And then there’s the ice and snow! But one of Tallgrass Creek’s greatest perks is its weatherproof walkways. If you live at Tallgrass Creek, it’s your choice to brave the winter weather! You’ll enjoy easy access to all the community’s amenities through the climate-controlled walkways that connect each building on campus. Your friends, access to two restaurants, the Medical Center, bank, and so much more will be just a leisurely stroll away from your apartment home.

Snow won’t slow you down
At your Tallgrass Creek home, watch the snow blanket the ground while going to grab a warm cup of coffee at the Sunflower Bistro. You’ll never have to worry about shoveling your walk or drive before leaving your home! At Tallgrass Creek, you only have to go outdoors if you want to and the walks are always shoveled for you by a capable, conscientious maintenance team.

You can also decide to warm up your morning routine with a quick walk through climate-controlled walkways to the Fitness Center. Prefer to relax? You’ll have the opportunity to melt the winter chill away by relaxing in the enticing hot tub at the indoor swimming pool as snowflakes drift past the windows.
