It’s not easy to spend as much time as you’d like with your grandchildren. On the one afternoon you’re free, they have an out of town soccer match. On the weekend they’re available, you’ve already scheduled a trip with your best friend.
With families busier and more mobile than before, finding time for your grandchildren can be a real challenge, as can finding activities you all enjoy.
Fortunately, Tallgrass Creek makes entertaining the younger generation easier than ever. Here are just a few of the activities at Tallgrass Creek people of all ages can enjoy:
1. Dive in at the Aquatics Center
Guests are welcome to splash around in the enclosed, all-season swimming pool. Challenge that young athlete to a race or a game of water volleyball.
2. Enjoy a meal at one of our two restaurants.
The restaurants at Tallgrass Creek will be a fun treat for visiting grandchildren and easy for you. Have lunch at the Sunflower Bistro or show off the next generation to your friends over dinner in The Blue Sky restaurant.
3. Shoot some pool or play a game of cards.
Challenge the family hustler to some friendly competition with pocket billiards. Or teach that budding card shark a few of your tricks at a card game.
4. Pamper your little Miss at the Day Spa.
Make your granddaughter’s day by making an appointment at the hair salon and day spa. From the latest hairstyles, to manicures or a massage, it’s an easy way for the girls to put some beauty in their day.
5. Practice on the putting green.
Even Tiger Woods has to practice. And Tallgrass Creek can make it easy with a multi-hole putting green just a short walk from the Audubon Clubhouse. It is an ideal afternoon activity for that high schooler who just made the golf team and needs some pointers from a seasoned veteran.
