Community Members Take Active Role in Community Life

THE ERICKSON TRIBUNE
When taking on the task of developing and managing communities, as Erickson does, there’s continuity of commitment that works to everyone’s benefit. Unlike typical developers, Erickson creates a community from the ground up and forges relationships to last a lifetime.
This visionary company shares best practices within 18 communities across the nation to ensure optimal living.
Three-Pronged Approach
Tallgrass Creek is different from other living options in the greater Kansas City area because of this threepronged management approach. Residents’ best interests are always top priority for the independent Board of Directors which governs Tallgrass Creek. This not-for-profit Board and the Executive Management Team will work with the elected Residents Advisory Council to set the policies of the community.
Your Voice Is Heard
Tallgrass Creek will have a Resident’s Advisory Council (RAC) that allows residents to be heard. The council serves as the eyes and ears of the Tallgrass Creek Board of Directors and the Executive Management Team.
Composed of your fellow, elected community members, the council will have the opportunity to impact daily life at Tallgrass Creek. The RAC will report to the community at large during “town hall” meetings and gather feedback from residents. The RAC works to promote the health, comfort, and safety of all residents and fosters a positive community environment.
Small Town Mayor
The executive director at Tallgrass Creek will act as a mayor, whose main job it is to see that your “small town under one roof ” is running smoothly in every area and to help you facilitate and use the wonderful amenities at Tallgrass Creek.
The “mayor” will oversee the community’s Executive Management Team which is made up of department heads from every area of services and amenities.
