Exclusive List Offers Chance at Future in Tallgrass Creek

By Carrie Anne Deters
THE ERICKSON TRIBUNE

Tallgrass Creek, Erickson’s newest community in Overland Park, Kan., will offer an unprecedented retirement lifestyle to the people in the greater Kansas City area.

Supported by the success of 17 other Erickson communities, Tallgrass Creek will represent all the values and many successes gained from this established family-owned company of 24 years.

Due to the determination and innovation of John Erickson and his talented staff, the Erickson lifestyle at communities like Tallgrass Creek nationwide have waiting lists that, at times, span several years for some apartment styles.

To avoid a long wait for a choice apartment home, it is necessary to join the Priority List. The list is your ticket to ensure a place in line as you choose Overland Park’s most desirable new address as a part of your future.

The Priority List is comprised of a group of people who’ve expressed serious interest in life at Tallgrass Creek by placing a refundable deposit to hold their place in line.

The Priority List Defined
The Priority List ensures your chance to reserve your preferred apartment home. As a member, you will be offered your apartment home prior to all others who join after you. You’ll also receive invitations for exclusive Priority List events, and be one of the pioneering members of the Tallgrass Creek community.

Jane McIntire, retirement counselor, and her staff will alert you, in order of your Priority Date, when an apartment home that matches your preferences is available. You have the opportunity to move to your new home if you choose and if you pass, your Priority Date stays secure for the next opportunity.

Control Your Decisions
The perfect time to join the Priority List is before you think you are ready. “Each day you wait, another person joins the Priority list in front of you,” says Retirement Counselor Jane McIntire.

The Priority List puts you in an envious position, giving you right of first refusal to choose and reserve an apartment home that becomes available before others who join after you.

Perks of Joining
To join, as many Kansas Citians have already, simply contact the Welcome Center to ask for an application.

Membership requires a $1,000 fully refundable, deposit and a $150 per- processing fee. Once you move that $1,000 deposit is attributed directly to your 100% Refundable Entrance Deposit, which covers the cost of building your apartment home and some common areas within the community.

According to Jane, “These individuals [Priority List members] are keeping a keen eye on Tallgrass Creek’s development from their coveted spot on the Priority List.”

A Waiting List for Tallgrass Creek?
There are more than 42,000 qualified people within a 10-mile radius of Tallgrass Creek and only a limited number of apartment homes currently under development. It’s a smart move to join the Priority List now. If you wait to join the list, you risk missing out on the services and amenities that are hallmarks of Erickson communities.

“The wait to move here, like at all Erickson communities, could span from six months to three years as demand for specific apartments continues to grow,” Jane says.

Don’t lose this opportunity to be in control of your move to Tallgrass Creek. Call the Welcome Center and ask for a free kit today, 913-897-2700 or toll-free 1-800-893-3118.
