THE ERICKSON TRIBUNE
A typical Erickson community uses approximately 149 types of lightbulbs to light the clubhouse, restaurants, classrooms, the Fitness Center, and many more places across the campus.
Who would have thought such a large variety of lightbulbs would be necessary to “flip the switch” in a person’s mind? At Tallgrass Creek, people who are interested in the Erickson lifestyle are beginning to see the light.
When people visit the Tallgrass Creek Welcome Center in Overland Park they often have what Retirement Counselor Jane McIntire calls the ‘lightbulb’ experience (that moment when someone explains a concept or idea in such a way that you suddenly understand it more clearly than before—the lightbulb goes on.
During a recent interview with The Erickson Tribune, Jane explained what it’s like when her visitors have the lightbulb experience.
“People get really excited about Tallgrass Creek when they visit and learn about all the details that go into making our community a small town all under one roof,” she says.
Below is your chance to get an insider’s view of a typical lightbulb experience for visitors to Tallgrass Creek. Visit the Welcome Center to enjoy this experience firsthand!
