The Tallgrass Creek staff is dedicated to bringing the unparalleled Erickson lifestyle to retired people in the Kansas City area. Their top priority is to help people explore their retirement options and make a sound decision.
Open for business in Overland Park, eight talented people arrive at the Tallgrass Creek Welcome Center each day to greet visitors, answer phone calls, and meet with interested people. In the future, anyone who requests an Information Kit may have the opportunity to meet everyone on staff in person. For now, learn a bit more about a staff who strives for excellence at Erickson’s newest community, Tallgrass Creek:
Suzanne Cole , Sales Director
Suzanne Cole is the woman in charge at Tallgrass Creek. A Kansas City native, Suzanne says, “I’m eager to bring the Erickson lifestyle to folks in my hometown.” Suzanne’s talents have led her to work with a magazine in New York, the Washington Redskins, and finally Erickson. She even knows how to fly an airplane! With her at the helm, experiencing Tallgrass Creek will be nothing but smooth sailing!
Jane McIntire , Retirement Counselor
Originally from Salem, Mass., Jane McIntire arrived at Tallgrass Creek as an Erickson veteran. Her six years of experience will benefit anyone interested in the newest Erickson community. As an East Coast native, she is eager to learn a thing or two from Kansas Citians! But don’t try to stump her with an Erickson question—she’s got all the answers covered!

Are you a Jayhawk? Aaron is, too. He studied history and communications and previously worked in management at KC Hopps Ltd. A native of Johnson County, Aaron can point you to almost anything in the area. According to Aaron, “Erickson gives all of us the ability to impact the lives of others. I like going home each day and feeling like I accomplished something good and worthwhile.”
Samantha Dorr , Marketing Assistant
People are Samantha’s business. She chose to work for Erickson Retirement Communities because she knows Tallgrass Creek will benefit many people in the greater Kansas City area. Travel plans? Samantha’s sure to have a suggestion or two—she loves to travel and has visited Asia, the Greek Isles, Latin America, and much of Europe.
Stacie Louthan , Sales Associate
Stacie grew up in Nebraska. As one of 21 siblings, Stacie learned to value people at an early age. Stacie says, “I’m excited to be part of a community that, by design, celebrates life and nurtures the mind, body, and spirit.” She’ll happily explain the benefits of life at Tallgrass Creek.
Mark Meisenheimer, Community Relations Associate
Mark has a knack for getting people’s attention. He recently moved to Kansas City from Des Moines, Iowa, where he worked as a sportscaster. Mark is excited to hear the stories of Tallgrass Creek residents, share in their life lessons, and help them appreciate this community which is designed to meet their needs and those of the local area. If you are part of a group that would like to learn more about Tallgrass Creek, Mark is your man!
Michelle Kunzle , Marketing Assistant
An Overland Park native, Michelle knows everything there is to see and do around Tallgrass Creek. Michelle looks forward to meeting everyone who passes through the doors of the Welcome Center. Her sociable personality and willingness to help others inspires Michelle as she works toward her Social Welfare degree from the University of Kansas.
Kelly Nelson , Events Coordinator
At home in the Overland Park, Olathe area, Kelly thinks Tallgrass Creek is a great addition to the community. Kelly has significant experience in helping people find the perfect apartment home—she used to work as a manager for AMLI, an apartment management company.
