A Track Record of Opening On-Time

Over the past 24 years, Erickson has developed 18 communities from the East Coast to the Midwest and Southwest that over 17,000 residents call home. Fourteen of those communities are open and operational; each one opened on-time and currently has a waiting list. Four of those are in the preconstruction or construction phase like Tallgrass Creek which is scheduled to open in the late fall of 2007. Every employee at Erickson Communities who is involved in the building and opening processes works diligently to keep opening commitments.

Just a few weeks before the most recently scheduled opening, Hurricane Rita blew through the Houston area. Eagle’s Trace, Tallgrass Creek’s sister community, was well prepared and had a solid plan for dealing with Rita’s force. All the buildings survived unscathed, and even though five days had passed, crews quickly went back to work, putting finishing touches on construction. Despite the havoc that Rita caused, residents moved in to Eagle’s Trace on-time.
