Have you ever thrown a fabulous holiday party, only to wake up the next morning and realize you didn’t get the chance to enjoy it at all? With the grocery shopping, meal planning, house cleaning, decorating, and, of course, post-party clean-up, there’s not a lot of time for the host to actually enjoy the gathering or the guests.
What if, instead, you could host a holiday party in an already cleaned and decorated dining room, with food catered by your own personal chef and served by a full wait staff? That’s exactly the option available to Sedgebrook residents throwing holiday get-togethers.
Party planners at your service
Residents can reserve the community’s private dining room to host family and friends during the holiday season. Dining services staff are available to assist residents with menu planning and other preparations, and Chef de Cuisine Michael Matson is on call to design a feast to please any crowd.
Whether it’s festive finger foods and cocktails or a leisurely sit-down meal you desire, the Sedgebrook staff will make it happen—and when you’re done, you don’t have to clean up. Instead, partygoers can retreat to community members’ apartment homes or relax by the roaring fireplace in the clubhouse.
Enjoy quality time with family
Sedgebrook community members Bev and Norm Rathje host their family’s Passover celebration in the private dining room. The family can enjoy time together with traditional foods like matzah and brisket—and leave the cooking and cleaning to Sedgebrook’s accommodating staff.
Bev Rathje says her apartment home is “lovely,” but that it’s easier to host a large crowd in the private dining room. “The table is all set, and we’re served, and we don’t have to clean up,” she says.
