Event Coordinator Barbara Chachko uses Erickson Walking Challenge to train

TINTON FALLS, NJ – Less than a week after most people who competed in this year’s Erickson Walking Challenge had hung up their sneakers, Seabrook Events Coordinator Barbara Chachko donned hers again for the two-day, 39-mile Avon “Walk for Breast Cancer” fundraiser in New York City. A total of 3,550 walkers, each raising a minimum of $1,800, participated in the event, which raised $9.6 million for research and treatments for underprivileged breast cancer patients.

TINTON FALLS, NJ – Seabrook recently held a “Back to School” school supply drive to benefit the Thurgood Marshall Elementary School in nearby Asbury Park, N.J. The more than 1,400 residents and 600 employees collected hundreds of items including notebooks, loose-leaf paper, binders, book covers, crayons, magic markers, pens, pencils, erasers, glue, scissors, staplers, calculators, rulers, pencil cases, and book bags.
