Meditation and Prayer Room for Personal Spiritual Growth
“I had someone tell me this has become the time and place for her where she has truly explored a faith life. It has become real for her, not just an obligation or an expectation. This is a time when she has truly developed a relationship with God and with the faith community,” says Marie Blohm, Community Services Manager for Seabrook’s Pastoral Ministries.
Blohm says she has heard that story many times: Seabrook is a place that helps people grow in their faith life, whatever it may be.
While the faith communities offer support within and for each other, the meditation and prayer room in Renaissance Gardens offers people a quiet, sacred place to nurture their spirituality independently.
“When I am troubled, I go into the prayer and meditation room. The sense of quiet creates an atmosphere for meditation and seeing the overall picture. I find it a very useful part of Seabrook,” Fran Pellmar says.
