Response to Recent Tinton Falls Homes Tour Was Overwhelming

Over 100 Seabrook residents graciously opened their homes to 300 prospective residents recently, in a two-day “Parade of Homes” event that showcased every apartment home style in the community.
“This is was the first Parade of Homes ever held at Seabrook,” says Barbara Chachko, the community’s events coordinator. “Based on its success, I’m sure we will continue it as an annual event.”
Because of the sheer number of people who responded positively to the event, cars were lined up getting into the community, with guests driving from as far away as Long Island and upstate New York.
Priority List Members Only
The event was held exclusively for members of Seabrook’s Priority List. These are people who have indicated their intention to move to Seabrook by joining the list and getting a Priority Date. Based on that date—which is the date they join—members are accorded precedence in reserving those apartment homes in which they have stated an interest.
With Seabrook virtually sold out, it’s essential to join the Priority List if you have any thought about living in the community. Even so, it can be hard to know all the home styles that would be right for you.
Opening Possibilities
For example, says Ruth Phillips, Seabrook’s retirement counselor, “If you’re interested in a two-bedroom Flagstaff design, you might want to look at a two-bedroom Fairmont or Franklin as well. You could also consider a Georgetown or Gilbert, which are extra large one-bedroom homes with a den. They offer just about the same square footage.”
With 26 different apartment home styles and Seabrook’s nearly sold out status, it’s not usually possible to show every style that might interest someone. That’s why Seabrook hosted the Parade of Homes event—to afford Priority List members the rare opportunity to view a variety of furnished residential apartment homes.
