THE ERICKSON TRIBUNE
It was a pretty sure bet that Erickson’s third D.C. metro area community— Ashby Ponds—would be a success.
According to Erickson Executive Vice President of Marketing and Sales Dan Rexford, “The need for a third D.C. metro area campus was clear. There are simply more people who want to join the Riderwood and Greenspring residents than those campuses can accommodate.
“In fact, there are currently more than 3,000 people who have placed deposits in anticipation of moving to Riderwood and Greenspring right now and the list is growing by over 60 per month,” he says.
Based on this demand for a D.C. region location, the much-anticipated Ashby Ponds office opened its doors last month. Since that time, the number of people inquiring about the community, visiting the office, and joining the Priority List smash all previously held records.
Educated decision-making
“One of the reasons the demand for Ashby Ponds is so high is because the people coming to visit know exactly what to expect,” says Retirement Counselor Dana Bradshaw.
“Many of the people I meet with have visited Riderwood and Greenspring many times. They like what they see there and are eager to start a new, similar community here at Ashby Ponds.”
Rexford agrees. “Before we even opened the Ashby Ponds office, we had more than 150 people on the Priority List specifically interested in a Loudoun County location,” he says. “These people are excited about working with Erickson to create a new community in the region.”
