Residents say goodbye to winter’s hazardous driving conditions

The 2007 Farmer’s Almanac warns “winter predictions are pointing toward widespread cold from coast to coast. For the Gulf Coast up through New England, unseasonably cold, or ‘shivery,’ conditions are expected.” Predictions of snow— and “lots of it” are also in the popular forecast.
Since the Farmer’s Almanac began providing long-range weather predictions in 1818, based on a top secret mathematical and astronomical formula, they’ve enjoyed an 80 to 85% accuracy rate.
Armed with this knowledge, it’s important to start planning how you’ll protect yourself and your loved ones when facing these snowy conditions. According to the U.S. Department of Commerce, “About 70% of automobile accidents resulting in death are ice-or-snow related.”
However, for the Riderwood community, winter weather conditions no longer play a role in their busy lives. Riderwood’s professional transportation provides safe and reliable transportation to all their favorite destinations.
