Time Is Running Out to Enjoy the Lifestyle You Deserve

Sound familiar? With new buildings opening at Riderwood every year for the last five years, waiting for the “right time” was a luxury you could count on. Now, with the grand opening of Forest Crossing and Orchard Point—the final two buildings in its 16-building master plan—now is that “right time!”

“Based on the record number of reservations we’ve been seeing over the last few months, Riderwood is expected to be completely sold out by this fall,” says Retirement Counselor Sally Sager.

“That means if you’ve ever contemplated a future at Riderwood it is imperative that you schedule an appointment as soon as possible.”

The Numbers Speak for Themselves

It’s one thing to hear that Riderwood is almost sold out. It’s another thing to see just how quickly these final apartments are going. Currently, only 100 of Riderwood’s 1,966 apartment homes now remain. That means 96 percent of the campus is already completely sold out.

While everyone has different reasons for moving to Riderwood, with so many opportunities, many people are opting to move sooner rather than later. “For me, I wanted to make the move while I was still very active and had my health. There is so much to do, I wanted to make sure I could take advantage of all that Riderwood has to offer,” says Kathleen Ryan.

Jim Aldrich and his wife Anne Blackburn agree. “Once we saw Riderwood, we re-evaluated our plans. We realized that if it made sense to move in three to five years, then it makes sense now.”

More Than One Home a Day—Reserved!

In February, 40 people have taken this sage advice and have reserved a new Riderwood apartment  home. If this trend continues— in just a few, short months Riderwood will be sold out. However, with this grand opening announcement and the historical spring increase in sales, it is fully anticipated that they will be gone even sooner.

Additionally, in February, close to 200 people have scheduled appointments with Elena or Sally to help plan for their future at Riderwood. However, with only 100 available apartment homes remaining, not all of these people would be able to move to Riderwood if they were ready today.

Now What?

“With demand for the Riderwood lifestyle far exceeding our current supply, I strongly encourage anyone interested in learning more to schedule an appointment as soon as possible,” says Sally. “Even people who do not plan to move this year should come in and get on the Priority List, because once Riderwood is sold out, that list will grow quickly!”

In fact, in February, 55 people have joined the Riderwood Priority List. Based on the “first come, first served” philosophy, your spot on this list will depend on when you join.

For example, other Erickson communities can have a five year wait on the most popular apartment styles.
