Reservists Refuse to Wait Until Grand Opening to Start Book Club, Card Club Wednesday, March 01, 2006
Monarch Landing’s almost 200 reservists and Priority List members weren’t about to wait until the community’s Grand Opening this summer to start making great friends and sharing their common interests. They demanded that a resident life director be hired immediately. And rather than wait until summer, they insisted that clubs and activities start now.

On Saturday, December 31, Monarch Landing helped ring in the New Year with the DuPage Children’s Museum—twelve hours early!
Noon was the magic hour at the museum’s fourth annual Bubble Bash. Sure it wasn’t quite midnight when revelers welcomed in 2006, but try telling that to the eager children who celebrated the New Year with fun games, activities, and lots and lots of bubbles.
