“Moving isn’t easy for anybody,” says Rosemary of Indian Head Park. “But I think it’s going to be easier for me now.”

Rosemary didn’t always feel this confident about the prospect of moving. She worried about whether her furniture would fit in her new apartment home, and what to do with the stuff she no longer wants.

To everyone feeling overwhelmed about moving, Rosemary has this piece of advice: “Talk to the move-in coordinator.”

Personalized Attention

Darci Wittke is Monarch Landing’s fulltime move-in coordinator and has a wealth of information on Moving Home, the innovative program to help you de-clutter, get organized, plan for space, find reliable movers, and much more.

Darci describes just some of the resources she provides: “I can personalize floor plans with your furniture. I can recommend movers, storage facilities, realtors, consignment stores, charities, and even clean-out and haul-away providers.”

These services were invaluable for Rosemary. “Darci was wonderful. She planned everything. She went over my floor plans, told me about moving and selling. I couldn’t have done it without her. Monarch Landing makes it so easy.”

Since everyone has different concerns when it comes to moving, Darci will personally come to your house to make recommendations and address your specific questions. According to Darci, this personal consideration and attention to detail make Moving Home such a unique and effective program.

“If you ask for something I don’t have,” says Darci, “I’ll find it for you.”

Coordinating the Details

With Darci and Moving Home helping to coordinate her move, Rosemary can spend less time worrying  about the details of her move and more time thinking about the details that really matter—like how to decorate her new two-bedroom Fairmont.

Already, Rosemary has selected from a variety of customization options, picking ceramic tiles for her bath, a cook-top stove, and plantation blinds for her guest room, which she plans to use as a den.

As for the kitchen, Rosemary says it’s bigger than the one she has now. She has big plans for that extra space. “I love to cook and I love to entertain,” she says.

‘I Don’t Want to Wait’

After meeting with Darci and taking advantage of the resources Monarch Landing provides, Rosemary says she feels confident about the details of her upcoming move, as well as the timing.

“I want to move now,” she says. “I don't want to wait five years and have to make a decision I don’t want to make—or to pay more. The cost is going to go up every year. I would recommend Monarch Landing to anybody. At least investigate it.”
