THE ERICKSON TRIBUNE
There is a group of people who receive exclusive invitations to luncheons, roundtable discussions, and special gatherings. The group is the Maris Grove Priority List, and its members have the “inside track” to this Erickson community in Glen Mills.
Priority position
Special events are just the icing on the cake for this group; it’s their “priority position” that is most valuable.
“I thought it was a great way to get what you wanted, when you wanted it,” Richard Dunlap says. He and his wife Annis, who now live at Maris Grove, cite the Priority List as one of the main reasons they chose the community over others.
“We wanted this location,” he adds, “and we wanted a particular model [floor plan]. We liked how the community was accessible to all the things we wanted to do. So by being on the Priority List, I think that gave us an edge.”
“It also lets us reserve our place in line and continue to think things out,” his wife adds. “We knew that if we changed our minds, we wouldn’t be penalized. We put our money down and gave it some more thought. When we decided to move, we were at the top of the list.”
What it means
Priority List members get the first choice of any apartment home that becomes available. The date they join is their “priority date.” From that point forward, they always have priority over the people who join the list after them.
With more than 90% of the homes at Maris Grove already reserved, it can literally mean the difference between living there and settling for a less appealing alternative.
The Priority List is structured so that even those who aren’t planning to move to Maris Grove for a while, once they do decide to move, they will be at the "head of the line.” This is important since Maris Grove is on track to sell out completely with many apartment designs expected to see multiple-year wait times.
