Maris Grove Retirement Counselors Pam Matschat and Julieann Brant answer all of your questions about Erickson’s unique Priority List.
If you are looking at a home at Maris Grove or know you would like to move here, the sooner you join the Priority List the better. And there’s no risk.
Erickson developed the Priority List to ensure that individuals who were interested in moving to an Erickson Retirement Community, and acted quickly, were rewarded with the best available home selections. Here, Pam and Julieann, Retirement Counselors at Maris Grove answers the most frequent questions about the Priority List.
Q: What is the Priority List?
A: The Priority List consists of people who are planning on moving to Maris Grove. A fully-refundable $1,000 deposit perhousehold and a $150 per-person non-refundable application fee are all it takes to join and secure your Priority List Date. Then, you pick the styles of home that you are most interested in and when one of those becomes available, you are given the right of first refusal according to your Priority List Date.
Q: How is your Priority List Date determined?
A: Your position on the list is based upon the date your refundable priority deposit is submitted. So the sooner you join, the better your choices. People are joining at a rate of 60 per month. And since we’ve celebrated our Grand Opening, the numbers are rising every day. Unfortunately, every day you wait to call, another person, sometimes two, gets ahead of you in line.
Q: Do I have to be ready to move in right away?
A: No. Joining the Priority List simply gives you options. Once you are a member, you will be contacted periodically when a homestyle that you are interested in becomes available. If you are not ready to move, just let us know and we’ll move to the next person.
Unlike other communities, you never lose your spot in line.
