A Maris Grove Development Update

THE ERICKSON TRIBUNE
With less than six months before Maris Grove opens its doors and welcomes the Pioneers to this exciting Erickson community, let’s take a look at how this maintenance-free campus is shaping up.
“We’re right on schedule,” says Randy Kuser, Erickson’s development director. “The Brinton Clubhouse is starting to look like a real clubhouse. The roof is on, including the shingles.”
With the clubhouse “weathered,” a construction term meaning it’s airtight enough that no rain or outside debris can penetrate the inside—internal construction can begin.
“All the interior finishes like flooring, drywall, electrical, HVAC, are in full gear. We’re working hard to make sure everything will be finished and in perfect shape when Maris Grove opens,” he adds.
In addition to the clubhouse, the two residence buildings, Millers Run and Newlin Pointe, are also on schedule.
“All the different teams have worked together before, so we all know and understand the importance of staying on schedule,” says Randy. “Everyone’s goal is to make sure the Pioneers moving into Maris Grove are very pleased with the results. We never forget that.”
Outdoor Amenities—A Top Priority
Just as important as making sure the clubhouse and homes remain on schedule for the fall opening, so too are outdoor amenities.
“Maris Grove is going to be special,” says Randy. “Behind the Brinton Clubhouse will be a spectacular courtyard with a walkway surrounded by benches, trees, bushes, and flowers. Just as the buildings are taking shape, so are the outdoor amenities.
“You’ll see the swimming pool extending out which will mean plenty of convenient poolside barbeques in the warmer months. Plus, there’s a nice putting green that grandchildren and grandparents always love. It’ll be very relaxing and inviting.”
A short walk from the courtyard will be a winding walkway toward the alluring Four Seasons Orchard that blooms year-round, and a magnificent lake.
