THE ERICKSON TRIBUNE
Ask Mary Wright,
Maris Grove’s new move-in coordinator, what she enjoys most about her new job and she laughs. “That’s easy,” she says, “I love working with people. That’s something I get to enjoy every day.”
It’s one thing to say you like working with people, another to prove it. With Mary, all you have to do is ask about her work experience. She spent the past 25 years working in two challenging customer service industries—first, as a flight attendant for 15 years, and the past 10 she’s spent in the financial services arena.
On top of her work experience, Mary holds a B.A. in Fine Arts from West Chester University.
“This is the perfect opportunity to marry experience with education,” says Mary, who doesn’t mind the short commute either. “I live in Chadds Ford, so getting here is easy.”
A Bright New Beginning
As Maris Grove’s movein coordinator, Mary’s job is to help Reserve members customize their home.
Once you reserve your home and choose from one of the many award-winning floor plans, Mary will work with you, from the carpet to cabinetry, to give your home a unique, exciting style.
“With Maris Grove opening this fall, things are getting very busy,” she says. “Since it’s a new community, everyone is excited about getting a new home. So, the first thing I do when people come in is to get to know them. I usually let themtalk about what they’re looking for. The great thing is this is a fun, stress-free experience. I give my suggestions when people are looking for direction. But some people know exactly what they want, so I just guide them through their choices.”
Mary starts by helping you select carpet, cabinets, countertops, kitchen flooring, and appliances. With several of each to choose from, the possibilities are endless. “Some people prefer a consistent one- or two-color look,” says Mary, “while others like more variety for a truly unique design.”
