Elaine Taber had taught swimming previously, so when she heard about a possible swimming class at Linden Ponds, she immediately got involved. “When people were showing interest in a swimming class at Linden Ponds I volunteered to help teach the group,” says Elaine.

When Judy Goodwin moved to Linden Ponds, a campus for people age 62- plus, she was aware of the world-class amenities like the all-season swimming pool and hot tub, Fitness Center, and creative arts studio. But she had no idea she would be part of an 11-person crew, working together to produce, manage, and direct various programs on LPTV-TV6, Linden Ponds’ internal television channel.

PEABODY, MA – Over 30 people who live and work at Brooksby Village in Peabody, Mass., and Linden Ponds in Hingham, Mass., came together on Sunday, October 1 to walk in the Alzheimer’s Association Memory Walk ‘06. Their efforts raised a total of $13,000. Brooksby Village and Linden Ponds raised a combined $5,400 and Erickson Retirement Communities donated $7,500 as a platinum-level sponsor of the event.
