Marisa Kelley was recently appointed a retirement counselor at Linden Ponds and is already finding it an enjoyable experience.

“I love it,” Kelley says. “I love the interaction with people who live and work here—with my colleagues and with the great team we have. It’s a fascinating job.”

Growing demand
Kelley joined the Linden Ponds sales staff because of the growing demand for apartment homes. She and Linda Hill are the retirement counselors for the popular campus.

Kelley has worked at Linden Ponds for the past three years and most recently served as staff development manager in Dining Services. She says she perceives the switch to retirement counselor as a professional challenge.

“I love working with the people who live here and seeing the way moving to Linden Ponds can have such a profound impact on their lives,” she says. “I enjoy helping people make the decision to move because I know it will improve the quality of their lives.”

After only a week in her new position, Kelley says she looks forward to future challenges.

“It’s an exciting time for me,” she says. “Right now, I’m learning a great deal.”
