HINGHAM, MA – Recently, people who live and work at Linden Ponds collected a number of toys for Toys for Tots during a tree-trimming event at the campus. "We are thrilled to once again work directly with the Hingham Police Department," said Courtney Sullivan, community services coordinator. "This was our second annual tree-trimming event, so we asked that everyone bring a toy and an ornament for the Linden Ponds holiday tree that represents their culture, religion, family and/or traditions. We collected hundreds of toys for Toys for Tots!" During the tree-trimming party, people who live and work at Linden Ponds brought along a new unwrapped toy to support the efforts of the Hingham Police Department for their annual Toys for Tots campaign sponsored by the United States Marine Corps. There were also special performances by the Linden Ponds Singers, a group of performers with various degrees of choral experience who live at Linden Ponds; the Linden Ponds Musicians Association; the Linden Ponds Recorder Consort; and a special solo performance by Marion Jenkins.
