“Dallas Heritage Village” (formally known as Old City Park)
Monday, March 3 from 10–11 a.m.

Dallas Heritage Village comes to Highland Springs by way of Melissa Prycer, curator of education. Dallas Heritage Village at Old City Park is the premier living history museum in the Southwest. As a nationally accredited living history museum with 38 historic structures, Dallas Heritage Village depicts life in Dallas from the 1840s through 1910 while offering a view of downtown Dallas as one  walks down Main Street.

“Stranger Than Fiction: Real Life in the Mainstream Media”
Tuesday, April 15 from 1–2 p.m.

Presenter Jacquielynn Floyd has been a columnist for the Metropolitan section of the Dallas Morning News for six years. She worked for the Dallas Times Herald before signing on with the News in 1990. Since then, she has been recognized as the best in the state by the Headliners Foundation, the Press Club of Dallas, and the Associated Press Managing Editors of Texas.
